Trim Down Club sounded good at first. Only $49 dollars for life long membership. However, now I am inundated with emails that promise to reveal weight loss secrets. These emails contain lengthy videos with enticing, introductory phrases about how wonderful the information is going to be which are repeated and reworded several times before the "secret" is revealed which always turns out to be an ad for some "magic" supplement or drink mix that will solve everyone's weight problems. If I had chosen to buy these products I could easily be spending $100 or more per day. Even when I selected "unsubscribe" in the small print at the bottom of these messages, new emails promising the ultimate solution show up the next day and the next.
Warning!... Buyer beware
Despite its assurances to the contrary this organisation seems to do everything in its power to ensure that dissatisfied members are dissuaded from claiming back their membership fee...and after many emails back and forth I am still left wondering whether They will ever deliver on their promise. They have even resorted to insisting that my claim can only be dealt with by way of costly long-distance telephone calls with their accounts department...even though my membership and subsequent refund claim were dealt with by email...will their next move be to insist that I must visit their office in California in person. Be warned, this is not the supportive helpful organisation it purports to be. Steer clear.
I signed up after watching the video. It appeared a little intimidating at first. I didn't bother with any extras packages, 6 meals a day and a menu planner that needed some time and attention. After about 45 minutes I was ready to print my shopping list and headed to the store.
There were several questions I needed answered and I was able to get the answers to them, although I was directed to the forum for my questions about trying a gluten free diet. I got my answer.
The community is friendly and supportive.
After the first week I lost 2 lbs. I'm now in my 2 month and down 15lbs. I understand why this program worksh
I'm really happy with what was offered to me. It's an honest plan I say try it.
Worthless, and not completely accurate information. I bought it and promptly asked for a refund! I still haven't been refunded the money. Even though they assure me it is coming, I have yet to see it in paypal.
This is only after getting 3+ emails trying to talk me OUT of canceling.
As another reviewer noted, I have NO desire to eat Olives for breakfast! I was given the most unappetizing and bizarre mixtures of items for a meal and not at all for the normal time of day!
I am still waiting to get that refund!
Not really necessary---
If you do the research for yourself, you will not need to spend any money what so ever on this dietary plan. The above comment from the "soon to be" registered dietitian is wrong also--which is sad considering she went to school for this. The food industry teaches you what the government wants you to learn! Probably 70% of the world is under the misapprehension that certain foods are "healthy" but in actuality, they have been so modified that they lose their nutritional value and become, in a sense, toxic and harmful to your body!!! Whole wheat bread is not good for you, as it contains rye and or gluten. Both of these are horrible for you body as well as your skin and other things. By cutting out breads all together, you will notice a dramatic increase in your skin, hair, and overall health. However, if you must eat bread, there are some choices that do not contain wheat, rye, or gluten. Sprouted grain bread is very good and makes excellent toast :). The rest of the information presented in the video is pretty much accurate. Avoid refined sugars, processed foods, and GMO's. You also need to avoid inorganic fruits, veggies, and meats. These are loaded with things the government and food industries add in. Obviously, that means they cannot be good for you. Eating this products with chemicals, toxins, and carcinogens are known to cause cancer. Eat organic fruits (not too many--sugars), veggies (green, leafy ones are the best!), and meats. Add healthy beans, such as kidney, for your source of protein if you prefer not to eat meat. Also be sure to add supplements! Flax-seed oil is a great thing to add to your diet.
The biggest thing you can do----RESEARCH on your own.
-Dr Mark Hymen---an excellent doctor who knows the truth about the food industry and will get you on the right track mindset
--Dr David Brownstein--excellent Dr. that introduces you to the right foods that are good for your body and that also aid in the prevention (yes, I said prevention) of cancer!!
